Important note regarding Encoders and Pulse Count selection: Many conical-rotor motors used in a hoist application have a BUILT-IN (low ppr count) encoder. In this case, you do not need to select an encoder option below (you should also leave the Encoder Pulse Count option as “Standard”).
However, if your motor DOES NOT have an existing encoder, you will need to supply and mount one on the motor. If you will be adding one of the PE® encoder options shown here, make sure you also select the “P2” model option for the MMV-CRH. Contact PE® if you are unsure.
