Regen Resistors
PE® Regeneration Resistors are engineered to safely dissipate excess energy generated during motor braking in crane and hoist systems. Commonly used with variable frequency drives (VFDs) in hoisting or lowering operations, these resistors protect your equipment by converting regenerative energy into heat, preventing overvoltage conditions on the DC bus. Our resistors are available in a wide range of power ratings and resistance values to suit travel, hoist, and dynamic braking applications.
